Skilled Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Toyota Kentucky. As a key member of our General Maintenance Department, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical equipment, including testing, repairing, and replacing components as needed.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, using technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to resolve issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance equipment efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve overall plant performance.
- Document maintenance activities, including work performed, materials used, and equipment status, to ensure accurate records and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- 2-year associate's degree in a related field, such as industrial maintenance or electrical engineering, and 1 year of industrial maintenance experience, or 3 years of industrial maintenance/military experience.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including PLCs, computers, and information technology.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to work varying shifts, including overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdowns.
- A competitive hourly rate of $44.20, with a $1.50 hourly shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
