We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Nursery Technician to join our team at Green Thumb Industries INC. As a key member of our cultivation team, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and productivity of our plants, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and contributing to the success of our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Plant Maintenance: Care for plants in the vegetative state, including tasks such as transplanting, cutting clones, watering, trimming, and pruning.
- Compliance and Safety: Follow safety and compliance regulations, report any issues to leadership, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Communication and Teamwork: Collaborate with the leadership team and coworkers to achieve production goals, maintain open communication, and provide feedback.
- Record Keeping and Calibration: Accurately record plant data, maintain and calibrate tools and equipment, and perform other tasks as directed by a lead or supervisor.
- Education and Experience: Associate's degree or certifications preferred, prior experience in manufacturing or a fast-paced environment.
- Skills and Abilities: Ability to utilize simple math, high focus and attention to detail, and perform tasks that require manual manipulation.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work in an environment with temperatures above 85 degrees and 70% humidity, climb ladders and stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Age and Identification: Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid state ID.
- Background Check: Must be able to obtain and maintain state badging requirements to work in the cannabis industry.
