  • Tax Interviews: Conduct tax interviews with clients to determine the best and most compliant course of action.
  • IRS Support: Provide IRS audit support as needed.

  • Tax Return Preparation: Provide guidance to Tax Interns in the scanning and preparation of tax returns.
  • Time and Expense Management: Maintain accurate time and expense records to ensure proper billing of clients.

Education, Experience, and Certifications

  • Enrolled Agent Licensure: Enrolled Agent Licensure (CPA designation is not required).
  • PTIN: A valid PTIN is required.
  • Public Accounting Experience: Prior public accounting experience is preferred.
  • Tax Preparation Experience: Previous experience preparing 1040's and other tax forms.
Essential Functions
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position as needed.
  • Mobility: The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office and at client offices to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Computer Operations: Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate in a professional manner and exchange information with internal and external actors as needed.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift/carry up to 20 pounds.
  • Work Schedule: Ability to work outside of normal business hours and weekends as needed.
  • Travel: Ability to travel to local and non-local clients as needed, overnight travel may be required.
