Dreammaker Bath & Kitchen is currently seeking a Carpenter's Helper to contribute to our projects. This role offers a competitive compensation range of $18-$25 / hr based on experience.

• Tool Management: Maintain and manage essential tools necessary for tasks.
• Project Scheduling: Review and adhere to the project schedule provided by the lead carpenter.
• Documentation: Accurately complete and submit daily logs, time cards, and photographic evidence of work.
• Work Orders: Receive and execute work orders as directed by the lead carpenter.
• Punctuality: Arrive at the job site at the scheduled time.
• Meetings: Participate in regular meetings to discuss project planning.
• Client Interaction: Interact with property owners respectfully and courteously at all times.
• Career Development: Show proficiency in various job tasks to advance to the Lead Carpenter role.
• Preparation and Cleanup:
  • Prepare job sites and ensure thorough cleanup post-completion.
  • Utilize drop cloths and protective coverings as needed.
  • Assist in moving furniture when required.
  • Establish dust barriers to maintain cleanliness.
  • Set up tools and materials for daily tasks.
  • Conclude daily tasks by organizing tools and cleaning the work area.
• Job Completion: Ensure all tasks are completed according to specifications unless a signed Change Order is in place.
• Site Maintenance: Conduct site cleanup at the end of each day and upon project completion, assisting the Lead Carpenter in obtaining client satisfaction confirmation when applicable.
• Safety Protocols: Immediately report any accidents or incidents to the Lead Carpenter.
• Professional Appearance: Maintain a tidy appearance and adhere to company dress standards.
• Work Hours: Standard start time is typically 7:30 am, subject to change based on project needs.
• Warehouse Support: Assist with tasks in the shop and warehouse as needed.
• Vehicle Upkeep: Ensure work vehicles are clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Warranty Services: Perform warranty-related tasks as required.
• Expense Reporting: Submit receipts for any company-related purchases.

• Additional Duties: Carry out other responsibilities as assigned.

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: At least two years in the construction field.
• Trade Experience: Familiarity with residential trades including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, countertops, drywall, tile, and flooring.
• Construction Knowledge: Basic understanding of construction principles.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office and smartphone applications.
