Primary Responsibilities

  • Execute coin and cash handling and transportation operations.
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
  • Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company policies.
  • Complete necessary documentation accurately.
  • Identify and report quality and technical issues through appropriate channels.
  • Exhibit professionalism and sound judgment in managing time and expenses.
  • As a representative of Coinstar, foster positive customer relations through exemplary personal presentation, ethical conduct, and mature decision-making.
  • Maintain all assigned technology, equipment, company vehicle, spare parts inventory, tools, and manuals in good condition.

Qualifications & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in the transportation of goods or services.
  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service or client relations.
  • Familiarity with electro-mechanical equipment is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in a responsible role with minimal supervision is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse customers.
  • Responsible for delivering customer support that aligns with Coinstar's standards of excellence and professionalism.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Additional Requirements

  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record; background checks, MVR, and drug testing will be conducted.
  • A Commercial Motor Vehicle Certification (CMV) is required upon hiring.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including early mornings, holidays, and weekends, as needed.

Physical Demands

The role of Logistics Services Coordinator involves operating a commercial motor vehicle to service kiosks within a designated area. Regular duties include prolonged sitting, frequently entering and exiting the vehicle, and navigating steps. The position requires physical capability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, twist, kneel, crouch, push, and pull, handling objects weighing up to 85 lbs and maneuvering coin bins weighing up to 600 lbs with a specialized hand truck. Effective communication with colleagues and others is essential, both in person and electronically. Regular use of a laptop and mobile phone is required. Candidates must be able to pass the DOT medical examination.

Compensation & Benefits

The starting pay for this position is approximately $22.27 per hour. Coinstar employs geographically based pay scales within the United States, allowing for competitive and consistent compensation based on location. Individual pay is influenced by various factors, including relevant skills, experience, and education. Short-term bonus incentives are part of the overall compensation package, contingent on both company and individual performance.
