We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes in Huntington, WV, and surrounding areas.

About the Role

As a LPN with Maxim Healthcare Services, you will have the opportunity to work with pediatric and adult patients, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. You will provide skilled nursing care and services in accordance with prescribed orders, assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition, and collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from healthcare members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Provide skilled nursing care and services in accordance with prescribed orders.
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from healthcare members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
Qualifications
  • Currently licensed as an LPN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
  • Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
  • Current BLS card.
  • One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.
