Warehouse Lift Operator Job Description

At UNFI, we're committed to creating an inclusive and respectful environment for all. As a Warehouse Lift Operator, you'll play a vital role in our distribution team, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of products throughout our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Replenish pick slots using the view request screen or manual replenish screen, maintaining accurate counts and logging any discrepancies in inventory.
  • Perform knockdowns for selectors when needed, keeping the area clean and debris-free.
  • Inspect assigned lift and complete vehicle inspection sheet, parking and recharging the lift in its designated spot at the end of the shift.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Knowledge of applicable Bakco functions and RF systems.
  • Ability to perform basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
