We are seeking a skilled Admission Counselor to join our team at The Horsham Clinic. As a dynamic and talented professional, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults, and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct telephonic and in-person risk assessments and crisis interventions
- Coordinate the referral and intake process
- Determine the appropriate level of care for patients
- Facilitate the admission process and maintain communication with referral sources, families, patients, and unit staff
- 2-3 years of experience working in a mental health setting
- Masters in Counseling, Psychology, or Human Services
- Ability to work with children and adolescents
- Knowledge of group therapy processes and therapeutic techniques
