Surgical Nephrology Nurse

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Nephrology Nurse to join our team at Swedish First Hill. In this role, you will provide professional, comprehensive nursing care for patients with kidney disease, hypertension, and other related conditions. Your expertise will be essential in assessing patients' needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to optimize patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Clinical Expertise: Provide direct patient care, perform assessments, and develop care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment options, and self-care techniques to promote healthy behaviors and improve quality of life.
- Collaboration: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, share knowledge, and ensure seamless transitions across the continuum of care.
- Professional Development: Stay current with best practices, attend conferences, and participate in educational programs to advance your skills and contribute to the growth of the department.
Requirements:
- Nursing Experience: 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in surgical nephrology or a related field.
- Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Licensure: Current Washington State Registered Nurse License.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in electronic medical records.

Swedish Health Services offers a competitive salary range of $45.65-$84.03 per hour, based on experience, plus additional compensation for shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, and bonus opportunities.
