Civil Stormwater Solutions Engineer


Management Recruiters International is on the lookout for a dedicated Solutions Engineer to spearhead the identification, design, and execution of innovative strategies aimed at assisting civil engineers in achieving stormwater quality, quantity, and low-impact development/runoff reduction goals, along with stormwater drainage and system layout specifications.

The Civil Stormwater Solutions Engineer plays a pivotal role in supporting the marketing team in establishing and nurturing relationships with civil engineering clients, aligning with the commercial objectives of the organization.


Key Responsibilities:
• Present tailored project solutions to civil engineering clients. Deliver precise design calculations, foundational illustrations, and expert advice to facilitate the integration of our products into site plans.

• Collaborate effectively with field and internal teams to meet collective goals.

• Address project-specific inquiries and general industry questions from civil engineer clients.

• Provide constructive feedback and design support to civil engineer clients through plan assessments and interpretations.

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with civil engineer clients.

• Oversee and monitor projects during the design phase, ensuring all project data is up-to-date and communicated regularly to all team members. Assist with projects at all stages as required.

• Uphold engineering standards and procedures.

• Offer project and technical support for submittal drawings, production, and product delivery.

• Engage directly with specifying civil engineers to develop and uphold product specifications.

• Ensure accurate documentation of pertinent information collected from specifying civil engineers in the project database.

• Provide guidance to clients and field teams regarding local stormwater regulations.

Collaborate with Regulatory Services to explore new markets, enhance market presence in existing areas, and promote the highest standards for water quality supported by the region.


Proactively advocate for products to expand the sales pipeline.

Support the promotional and strategic initiatives of the organization.

Other responsibilities as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.

• Experience in civil site projects with a focus on stormwater or drainage design is preferred.

• Strong commercial acumen and sound judgment.

• Proficient in preparing and reviewing standard engineering documentation and plans.

• Passionate about the business and committed to achieving organizational objectives.

• Ability to establish and maintain robust client relationships.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Strong communication skills.

A collaborative team player, capable of sharing ideas openly, embracing new concepts, and effectively contributing to a highly interactive work environment.
