Underwriting Specialist

**Job Description:**

We are looking for an experienced Underwriting Specialist - Healthcare Facilities to join our team at Primma, LLC. This role will be responsible for underwriting accounts for healthcare facilities within the scope of assigned underwriting authority.

Key Responsibilities:

• Underwrite accounts for healthcare facilities within the scope of assigned underwriting authority.
• Review applications and financial requirements to determine acceptability of risk in accordance with company guidelines and standards.
• Analyze pricing components and rating methodology to price risk based on financial and competitive analysis.
• Use predictive modeling tools to ensure underwriting guidelines are followed.
• Identify, analyze, and solve problems while managing and prioritizing multiple concurrent projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent business experience required.
• 5+ years of related hospital professional liability insurance experience required; general liability experience preferred.
• Regular travel to the Roslyn office is required on an as-needed basis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of underwriting processes, coverages, and tools to gather and evaluate information in order to reach appropriate decisions on renewals and new business.

Compensation: The estimated salary for this position is around $110,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience and other factors permitted by law.
