We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Butler Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care based on the knowledge of ANA Standards of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, hospital policies and procedures, and the RI Nurse Practice Act.
You will participate in treatment planning to coordinate management of medical and nursing care and discharge planning of patients. Additionally, you will coordinate psychiatric and/or medical emergencies, ensuring the safety of all patients.
Responsibilities- Administer medications with knowledge of action, mode of administration, side effects, and contraindications.
- Assume the role of Charge Nurse for the shift.
- Participate as an active team member by assisting other staff and accepting additional assignments to complete essential patient care and unit responsibilities.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current RI nursing license.
- B.S.N preferred.
