Job Overview:

As a vital member of our healthcare team, the Radiologic Technologist II is responsible for conducting diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced radiology equipment. This role is essential in providing high-quality images that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Utilize both standard and portable radiology equipment to execute a variety of imaging examinations, including but not limited to fluoroscopy studies and specialized procedures.
  2. Support medical professionals by performing intricate imaging tasks and ensuring the accuracy of the results.
  3. Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to imaging equipment and film output.
  4. Serve as a mentor and resource for fellow radiographers and students, sharing expertise and knowledge.
  5. Engage in continuous learning opportunities to enhance skills in imaging modalities such as Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging.

Qualifications:

A minimum of an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field is preferred. Candidates should have graduated from a CAAHEP accredited program with a focus on cardiovascular or radiologic technology specialties.

Experience Requirements:

At least one year of full-time experience as a certified or registered radiologic technology professional in the relevant specialty.

Licensure and Certification:

Current ARRT certification is required.
