Key Position Details:

This position will have time split at both Owatonna and Faribault locations. The Flexible Full-Time (FTE) schedule will be based on the applicant's preference.

Job Description:

As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), you will provide anesthesia care to patients undergoing various medical procedures. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing pre-anesthesia assessment and evaluation of patients, reviewing orders and obtaining informed consent.
  • Ensuring patients are positioned properly and safely secured.
  • Initiating anesthetic techniques, which may include general, regional, local, or sedation.
  • Managing airway and cardiopulmonary status to maintain satisfactory physiologic conditions.
  • Facilitating emergence and recovery from anesthesia by administering medications, fluids, and airway support.
  • Discharging patients, providing a summary of patient history and surgical events.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Master's degree graduate of a Nurse Anesthetist program.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience working as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Licensed Registered Nurse - MN Board of Nursing.
  • Registered Nurse Anesthetist - MN Board of Nursing.
  • ACLS/BLS Tier 2-Advanced Cardiac Life Support - Multisource.
  • PALS - Pediatric Advance Life Support - Multisource.
