POSITION SUMMARY

The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients, maintaining effective communication with patients, clients, and colleagues. Responsible for accurate documentation of services provided in patient records. Conducts ongoing training sessions for patients, clients, and colleagues regarding rehabilitation techniques. Executes all duties in accordance with established medical standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Projects a professional image that aligns with the organization's mission and encourages collaboration among team members. Aids colleagues and fosters teamwork by sharing valuable information that contributes to shared objectives.
  • Ensures fair treatment of all residents, demonstrating kindness, dignity, and respect while safeguarding their rights at all times.
  • Respects the personal and property rights of all residents during the execution of duties, including knocking before entering a resident's room.
  • Complies with all organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Oversees Therapy Assistants and therapy students in delivering direct patient care to implement care plans and patient-related activities in accordance with state practice laws and reimbursement guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a valid state license or eligibility to obtain a license in the service state.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Dedication to consistently providing high-quality, patient-centered care with integrity, compassion, respect, and dignity, in alignment with the company's mission. Upholding the values of care and compassion, community, integrity, teamwork, innovation, and safety.
