Job Description

CompQsoft Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to lead our Network program team in Fort Meade, MD. The ideal candidate will have experience in Network technologies, Information Assurance, and Sys Admin, with a strong background in project management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with Government PMs and stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
  • Conduct project meetings and track and analyze project performance metrics.
  • Estimate and allocate resources efficiently.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths.
  • Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders effectively.
  • Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Provide technical direction and support to project teams.
  • Prepare regular status reports and provide updates to stakeholders and senior management.
Requirements
  • DoD Active Secret Clearance Required (or eligible for Interim Secret Clearance).
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent required.
  • DoD and/or Government program experience preferred.
  • DISA experience a plus.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in network project management, preferably in a defense or government setting.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, infrastructure, and security practices.
  • Familiarity with DISA's mission, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience leading and managing multiple cross-functional project teams concurrently.
  • Strong communication, organizational, effective leadership, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of project management software tools and methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools; specifically, PowerPoint, Word & Excel.
