Inpatient Rehabilitation Nurse

MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inpatient Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (RN) to join our client's healthcare team.
Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Inpatient Rehabilitation Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical histories, physical conditions, and rehabilitation needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for rehabilitation.
- Continuously monitor patients' vital signs, symptoms, and overall progress throughout their rehabilitation stay.
- Administer medications as prescribed and educate patients about their medications and potential side effects.
- Assist with daily living activities, mobility exercises, and therapeutic interventions to promote recovery.
- Educate patients and families about rehabilitation processes, discharge planning, and home care resources.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, care plans, and progress notes.
- Work closely with physical, occupational, and speech therapists to coordinate patient care and optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
- Respond promptly to any medical emergencies, ensuring patient safety and appropriate interventions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to best practices and standards of care in inpatient rehabilitation.
- Current RN licensure appropriate to state regulations.
- BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
- CRRN certification preferred.
- Clinical experience in a hospital setting is preferred but not required.
