HSE Manager Position

Daily Instruments is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead our health, safety, and environmental initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations, cultivating a safe work environment, and driving continuous improvement in our HSE systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement HSE programs, principles, and procedures
- Ensure EHS standards meet company, federal, state, and local requirements
- Foster a positive, safety-focused culture
- Analyze incident investigations
- Continuously improve efficiency of environmental, health, and safety systems
- Provide HSE expertise to project teams
- Environmental reporting and permitting
- Align Daily Instruments' HSE administration, tracking, compliance with all legal rules, regulations, and ethical conduct
- Inspect the facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risks
- Develop and implement inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections
- Develop health and safety procedures for all areas of the company
- Prepare and schedule training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics
- Monitor compliance with safety procedures
- Draft inspection reports to document inspection findings
- Ensure that material safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed
- Maintain records of discharge of or employee exposure to hazardous waste and/or pollutants, as required
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Environmental, Health, Human Resource, or another relevant degree
- 1-3 years previous HSE Administration or Supervision experience
- Thorough understanding of current federal, state, and local health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices
- Proven track-record of HSE Administration
- Strong Project Management skills, with fluid priorities
- Root Cause Analytical thinking skills for solving problems
- Level of confidentiality while performing investigations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel domestically, as needed, but rare
