Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Oncology Case Manager RN to join our team at Nebraska Medicine. As a key member of our cancer care team, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient education and support to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Manage patient flow and coordinate care across multiple settings
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure timely and effective care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years of nursing experience, preferably in oncology or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Nebraska or compact state
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in oncology or a related field
  • Master's degree in nursing (MSN) or equivalent experience
  • Specialized certifications, such as OCN or CBCN
