Job Requirements:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with a strong background in BI/DW development, experience in at least one large-scale big data and cloud implementation, and a proven track record of defining and governing data modeling and design standards.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of DW concepts, BI on Cloud, and experience in working with customers to gather business requirements for data migration needs and structure for AWS Data Lake.

They will also have implementation experience in business and IT data requirements through new data strategies and designs across all data platforms (relational, dimensional, and NoSQL) and data tools (reporting, visualization, analytics).

Awareness and exposure to Data Migration, Data Governance, Metadata Management, Master Data Management will be a big plus.


Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Designing and implementing data architectures, infrastructure, and interfaces to data sources, tools supporting automated data loads, security concerns, analytic models, and data visualization.
  2. Defining and governing data modeling and design standards, tools, best practices, and related development for enterprise data models.
  3. Identifying the architecture, infrastructure, and interfaces to data sources, tools supporting automated data loads, security concerns, analytic models, and data visualization.
  4. Implementing data ingestion (real-time or batch), implementation of AWS Data Lake/Data Warehouse/NoSQL database on Cloud, metadata management & data catalog and Reporting.
  5. Working with customers to gather business requirements for data migration needs and structure for AWS Data Lake.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum years of experience in BI/DW development experience on-premises and on Cloud.
  • Strong knowledge on DW concepts and BI on Cloud.
  • Experience in at least one Large Scale Big Data and Cloud Implementation.
  • Implementation experience in business and IT data requirements through new data strategies and designs across all data platforms (relational, dimensional, and NoSQL) and data tools (reporting, visualization, analytics).
  • Proven experience in defining and governing data modeling and design standards, tools, best practices, and related development for enterprise data models.
  • Awareness and exposure to Data Migration, Data Governance, Metadata Management, Master Data Management.
