We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at FirstFleet, Inc. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
- Diagnose and repair complex diesel engine problems
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Work with a team to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry technologies and techniques
- 1 year of experience in a shop environment
- Ability to perform periodic maintenance tasks
- Basic hand tools required
- CDL-A license preferred but not required
- Experience with tire mounting and lube/oil changes a plus
- Trailer maintenance experience a plus
- Competitive hourly rate: $20-$33/hr
