Diesel Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at FirstFleet, Inc. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Diagnose and repair complex diesel engine problems
  • Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Work with a team to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry technologies and techniques
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience in a shop environment
  • Ability to perform periodic maintenance tasks
  • Basic hand tools required
  • CDL-A license preferred but not required
  • Experience with tire mounting and lube/oil changes a plus
  • Trailer maintenance experience a plus
