About the JobThis senior-level dietitian position oversees nutrition care for residents at increased risk, ensuring individualized plans are developed and implemented to achieve optimal nutritional status.
The successful candidate will lead a team in honoring resident food preferences, documenting nutritional status, and ensuring appropriate diets are provided.
Nutrition therapy, in-service training, and consultation services will be provided to unit residents, staff, and their families.
About the FacilityLongleaf Neuro-Medical Treatment Center is a 200-bed facility providing skilled and intermediate care.
Residents are admitted from state psychiatric hospitals and community referrals for the Alzheimer's Treatment Program.
The center addresses the complex needs of residents, requiring nursing care and long-term care solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Leverage expertise in therapeutic nutrition to drive patient outcomes.
- Direct a team in assessing, planning, counseling, and directing nutrition care.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives in food service operations.
- Foster collaboration among healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.
- Develop and maintain quality standards for nutritional care.
- Master's degree in foods and nutrition or a related field, registered with the CDR.
- Bachelor's degree in foods and nutrition, dietetics, or a related field, registered with the CDR and three years of experience in leadership roles.
