Aircraft Electrician Job Summary

As an Aircraft Electrician in the Army National Guard, you will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, and repairing electrical systems on Army aircraft. This includes diagnosing malfunctions in electrical and electronic components, maintaining electrical/electronic elements of assemblies, and using and maintaining common/special tools. You will also be responsible for preparing requests for turn-ins and repair parts, and maintaining facilities for storage of flammable and hazardous materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose malfunctions in electrical and electronic components
• Maintain electrical/electronic elements of assemblies
• Use and maintain common/special tools
• Prepare requests for turn-ins and repair parts
• Maintain facilities for storage of flammable and hazardous materials

Requirements:

• Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate
• Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
• Must meet citizenship requirements
