Job Description

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for providing overall maintenance services to the facility, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment for all employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance, construction, or general labor, with a focus on providing exceptional support to the Grow Op Farms team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supports other workers in diverse repair and maintenance work, including troubleshooting malfunctions and locating sources of problems.
  2. Completes preventive maintenance prerequisites, making adjustments on operational parts of devices and instruments as necessary.
  3. Utilizes company project management tools to report, schedule, and develop project plans.
  4. Organizes and provides maintenance services to the inventory and production workstations, ensuring a high level of quality and efficiency.
  5. Purchases materials for the facility as permitted and necessary, providing accurate estimates of required supplies and materials.
  6. Cleans parking lots, ditches, streets, alleys, and walkways around the facility, maintaining a safe and clean environment.
  7. Performs work from work orders, blueprints, and drawings, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  8. Organizes and maintains reports and work estimates, providing timely and accurate information to management.
  9. Utilizes and takes care of equipment and tools used in the work of maintenance, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  10. Cuts, fits, and repairs PVC, ABS, and PEX water lines, as well as non-welded steel parts.
  11. Performs basic carpentry and framing work using conventional methods, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  12. Carries out emergency fixes on equipment and facilities as necessary, providing prompt and effective solutions.
  13. Assists with Research & Development projects as assigned, contributing to the growth and development of Grow Op Farms.
  14. Performs all other duties/responsibilities as necessary or assigned, supporting the overall mission and goals of the company.

Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years old or older.

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or a General Education Degree.
  • Previous maintenance, construction, or general labor experience preferred.

Physical Abilities:

  • Frequently sit or stand for long periods of time doing repetitive tasks with hands, pull/push, carry up to 50 pounds, and grasp.
  • Frequently walk, reach, and taste, or smell.
  • Regularly climb, stoop/crouch, crawl, carry up to 50 pounds, talk, or hear.
  • Clearly see 20+ feet, with or without corrective lenses and differentiate between colors (no color blindness).
