Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Courier/DOT to join our team at FedEx. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring timely delivery of packages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
  • Provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages
  • Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provide related customer service functions
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A valid driver's license for the type of vehicle assigned
  • The ability to lift 50 pounds and maneuver packages of any weight with appropriate equipment and/or assistance
  • Good human relations and verbal communication skills
  • A neat appearance, as customer contact is required
  • Meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations
Preferred Qualifications

We prefer candidates with:

  • Previous experience in a delivery or transportation role
  • Knowledge of FedEx features of service and related customer service functions
Work Environment

This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, 5:30AM-11:30AM. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
