Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at the Circleville Juvenile Correctional Facility. As a key member of our food services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals for residents in accordance with established menus and dietary requirements
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient food service operations
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary training or certification preferred
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position working 3 13.5 hour shifts per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a correctional facility setting and must be able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
