We are seeking a Certified Healthcare Specialist to join our team as a National Surveyor. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for conducting surveys at healthcare facilities nationwide to assess compliance with federal regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and experience working as a surveyor accrediting or certifying facilities that serve long-term care residents. You will be required to maintain current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) and have a history of independent decision-making skills to direct and effectively manage the survey process.

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $90,000 per year. Responsibilities of the National Surveyor include:

  • Conduct on-site surveys of Medicare-Medicaid certified health care facilities to determine compliance with Federal regulations.
  • Prepare for surveys by reviewing facility information, creating an itinerary, and identifying areas of focus.
  • Evaluate the quality of care provided to patients, ensuring it meets federal requirements.
  • Communicate non-compliance issues with facility staff and provide guidance on corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement plans of correction to resolve deficient practices.
  • Conduct follow-up visits to ensure implementation of plans of correction.
  • Participate in training sessions and work groups as needed.
