Nursing Professional

At HealthFirst Staffing, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Professional to join our team on a per diem basis. This exciting opportunity allows you to provide high-quality nursing care to residents in long-term care settings while enjoying the flexibility of per diem work.
This role involves assessing patient conditions, administering medications and treatments, and maintaining accurate medical records. As a Nursing Professional, you will be responsible for:
- Administering Medications and Treatments: Following standard procedures, you will administer medications and treatments to patients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Assessing Patient Conditions: You will regularly assess patients' physical and mental conditions, identifying any changes or concerns that require attention.
- Maintaining Medical Records: Accurate and up-to-date medical records are essential for providing quality care. You will ensure that all patient information is recorded correctly and securely.
In addition to these responsibilities, as a Nursing Professional, you will:
- Communicate Effectively: You will maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in Training: You will attend regular in-service trainings to stay updated on best practices and improve your skills.
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
- Nursing Experience: We seek candidates with at least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Licensure and Certification: A valid Mississippi RN license in good standing is mandatory.
- Strong Skills: Excellent assessment and patient monitoring skills, strong communication abilities, and proficiency in electronic health record systems are essential.
