Machine Learning Applied Scientist, Account Integrity Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Applied Scientist to join our innovative team at Amazon. As a key member of our Account Integrity team, you will leverage cutting-edge techniques like reinforcement learning, large language models, and graph analytics to protect Amazon customers from hackers and bad actors.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced algorithmic systems that integrate state-of-the-art techniques to manage trust and safety for millions of customers.
- Analyze and model terabytes of data to create sophisticated algorithms that combine RL, LLMs, graph embeddings, and traditional machine learning methods.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate, simplify, and push the boundaries of what's possible in AI and machine learning.
Requirements
- PhD or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as CS, CE, or ML.
- 4+ years of experience in programming languages like Java, C++, or Python.
- Experience in areas like algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, or high-performance computing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Unix/Linux.
- Professional software development experience.
