Job Overview:

The Facilities Maintenance Manager will oversee the daily operations and strategic initiatives for the maintenance team, ensuring the reliability and sustainability of production equipment. This role includes managing both salaried and support staff within the maintenance department. The Facilities Maintenance Manager will also be tasked with developing resources to enhance tactical maintenance and long-term operational improvements. A key aspect of this position is fostering the professional growth of direct and indirect reports through technical guidance, coaching, and leadership in maintenance planning activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and track metrics to assess the efficiency of the maintenance organization.
- Ensure the integration of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), preventative, and predictive maintenance practices.
- Actively engage in TPM, Kaizen, and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) initiatives.
- Establish and review annual performance and development goals for the department, supporting the Maintenance and Engineering sectors.
- Participate in the formulation and management of the department's business planning objectives (e.g., A3, Hoshin, etc.).
- Set, implement, and report on daily plans in alignment with departmental objectives.
- Cultivate strong working relationships with Area Managers, Lead Area Managers, Maintenance Superintendents, and Maintenance Technical Leaders.
- Oversee the maintenance department's Repair and Maintenance (R&M) budget.

Basic Qualifications (Minimum Requirements):
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • At least eight years of maintenance experience.
  • A minimum of three years managing substantial departmental budgets.
