**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Transmission Disassembly Technician to join our team at Jasper Engines & Transmissions. As a key member of our remanufacturing team, you will be responsible for the disassembly of power drive transmissions, ensuring that all components are properly cleaned and prepared for reassembly.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Verify the tag of the BOM matches the unit (core) provided
  • Remove bolts, seals, and other external components from the transmission
  • Remove the oil pan and internal components
  • Clean parts using solvent and place them in baskets for washing

**Requirements**

  • Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and move materials up to 50lbs
  • Ability to stand or walk for an entire shift (approximately 8-10 hours)
  • Ability to use handheld tools such as impacts, pneumatic drills, and hammers
