Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Full-Time Teller to join our team. As a key member of our retail network, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service by welcoming customers, processing transactions efficiently, resolving issues, and identifying financial needs for referrals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve financial wellness goals by identifying referral opportunities and contributing to sales performance.
  • Assist customers with questions, problem resolution, and needs, proactively engaging with them to understand their needs and inform them of product features.
  • Engage with customers, greet them, and resolve issues.
  • Balance teller drawers, participate in office meetings, and perform dual control balancing of vaults and ATMs.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences and champion financial wellness through product delivery and exceptional service.
  • Complete educational training and self-educate using bank programs.
  • Have general knowledge of office systems and software, perform maintenance, and possess in-depth knowledge of bank products and services.
  • Follow security and dual control processes, participate in branch opening and closing tasks, and protect the bank from unnecessary risk.
  • Work as a team to complete daily tasks, demonstrate respect and professionalism, and support management with special requests.
  • Work evening hours and weekends as scheduled and ensure compliance with Northwest's policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulations.
Requirements:
  • Establish effective working relationships with team members and participate in problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Present and express ideas clearly and concisely, actively listen to others, and facilitate the open exchange of ideas.
  • Establish courses of action for yourself to accomplish specific goals, develop and use tracking systems, and effectively use resources.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Cash handling experience preferred.
  • Banking and/or retail experience preferred.
