We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) to join our rapidly growing Biomedical Services Team in the Southern New England area.

This dynamic position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of therapeutic and diagnostic biomedical instrumentation, repairing, installing, maintaining, calibrating, and inspecting equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete complex technical repairs and installations, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks
  • Maintain accurate records of new equipment inspections and equipment repairs and failures, adhering to company standards
  • Properly maintain company-issued equipment, ensuring its functionality and extending its lifespan
  • Meet productivity and billing requirements, staying up-to-date with new products and technologies in the biomedical industry
  • Effectively communicate job status to management, facilitating seamless coordination and collaboration
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated expertise in electronics, electricity, electro-mechanical, fluidics, pneumatics, and hydraulic theories and practices
  • Proficiency in operating specialized test equipment used on medical equipment, showcasing a strong understanding of various hospital/homecare medical equipment
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with MS-Windows and MS-Office Suites, supporting efficient data entry and record-keeping
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, ensuring excellent customer service and teamwork
  • Associate's degree in Electronics or Biomedical Equipment Technology (or successful completion of the military BMET school), demonstrating a solid foundation in biomedical principles
