Job Title:

Registered Nurse - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary:

MemorialCare Health System is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit team at MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide exceptional patient care to critically ill newborns and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the physician or other healthcare team members.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in neonatal care.
Requirements:
  • Current California RN license.
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR & AED) certification.
  • Current American Heart Association NRP certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher.
  • Graduated from an accredited nursing program.
