Position Overview
  • Utilize heavy machinery including dump trucks, boom trucks, and backhoes for street maintenance and construction projects.
  • Construct forms and pour concrete for curbs, gutters, and sidewalks to ensure proper drainage and safety.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on all equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Engage in various tasks such as ditch excavation, drainage pipe installation, asphalt repairs, and other related duties.
Qualifications
  • A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Possession of a valid Georgia Class A CDL with a clean driving history is required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience operating heavy machinery is essential.
  • Familiarity with brick laying, concrete pouring, and basic carpentry techniques is preferred.
