Job Summary

The Production Home Assembler plays a vital role in the factory assembly line environment, responsible for preparing and assembling building components and homes accurately and efficiently. This position requires following work orders and instructions to meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tool Operation: Operate various hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in carpentry duties, including circular saws, table saws, routers, pneumatic nail guns, drills, and other necessary tools for measuring, cutting, fastening, and drilling.
  • Floor and Wall Construction: Frame, layout, and build floors, as well as prepare, layout, and build walls.
  • Electrical Installation: Layout, run, and install electrical lines, switches, receptacles, and panels/breaker boxes.
  • Roofing and Finishing: Complete roof construction, decking, flashing, and shingling, as well as install and prepare drywall for finish tape, mud, and texture.
  • Cabinet and Trim Work: Perform cabinet and/or finish carpentry and trim, including building and installation.
  • Siding, Windows, and Doors:
  • Painting: Paint interior and exterior of homes.
  • Teamwork and Safety: Cooperate with all company employees, adhere to all rules and regulations, and meet or exceed company safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Age and Eligibility: Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Education: High school diploma preferred.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Ability to read a tape measure, basic construction knowledge, comfortable using basic tools, excellent attention to detail, ability to read blueprints (a plus), ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
