Gastroenterologist - IBD Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterologist to join our team as an IBD Specialist. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).

This is a full-time position that requires the physician to provide outpatient gastroenterology services and perform endoscopic procedures at the Inova Center for Personalized Health (ICPH). The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with IBD.

• Provide outpatient gastroenterology services, including endoscopic procedures
• Manage patients with IBD, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with IBD
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

• MD or DO from an accredited university medical school
• Completed ACGME residency training and subsequent fellowship in gastroenterology
• Board eligible or board certified in gastroenterology
• Formal IBD fellowship or prior experience in IBD patient management
• Current or eligibility for an unrestricted Virginia state medical license and DEA
