- Technical Expertise: Possess a strong background in either mathematics or computer hardware to understand the intricacies of HPC architecture and complex mathematical principles.
- System Development: Work on processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of large data sets, real-time systems, and systems incorporating data repositories, data transport services, and application and systems development and monitoring.
- Team Collaboration: Work individually or as part of a team to achieve project goals.
- Software Quality Assurance: Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and document test results.
- Problem Resolution: Resolve software problem reports.
- Methodologies: Utilize software development and design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
- System Design: Provide input to the software components of system design, including hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Open Source Software (OSS), and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.
- Configuration Management: Working knowledge of Configuration Management (CM) tools and Web Services implementation.
- Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Math, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven (7) years of experience as an HPC Software Developer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Master's Degree: Master's degree in Math, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as an HPC Software Developer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Experience: Nine (9) years of experience as an HPC Software Developer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Compensation: Above market fixed salary or hourly pay.
- Bonus: Up to $10,000 bonus for each referral.
- Additional Bonuses: Additional bonuses for exceptional performance, assisting with business development and company growth.
