Starbucks Lead Barista

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Barista to join our team at Kroger. As a Lead Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing the coffee bar, and supervising a team of baristas.

• Customer Service: Provide prompt, quality coffee selection, purchase, and preparation to customers.
• Team Management: Supervise and direct department personnel to ensure quality customer service.
• Inventory Management: Order and maintain stock and supplies, monitor conditions and appearance of same throughout the department.
• Quality Control: Monitor code dates and product rotation, removes out of code product.
• Training and Development: Delegate job assignments and responsibilities to associates in accordance with duty rosters.
• Store Operations: Maintain customer service area and equipment in a clean and appealing manner.
• Communication: Demonstrate clear communication with all customer and partner interactions.

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a barista or in a related role.
• Skills: Effective written and oral communication skills, ability to calmly and courteously handle stressful situations.
• Certifications: Must be a trained and certified barista.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Prior experience in a supervisory role or in a related field.
• Skills: Supervisory skills, ability to work cooperatively in a high-paced environment.
