Job Summary and Qualifications

We are in search of a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Cardiac Stepdown Service Unit (CSSU). In this capacity, you will deliver direct nursing care in alignment with the hospital's established policies and protocols. Your role will involve collaborating with the clinical team to develop and implement individualized care plans for our patients.

  • Exhibit proficiency in caring for patients with cardiovascular conditions, including pre and post-operative care for cardiac procedures.
  • Monitor and document patient conditions using computerized systems.
  • Engage in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families.
  • Coordinate discharge planning with the healthcare team.

Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License in NH or valid Compact State License.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications from recognized organizations.
  • Completion of Basic Arrhythmia training within three months of hire.
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification within 45 days of hire.
