Job Opportunity at Chestnut Health Systems

Chestnut Health Systems, a leading provider of integrated primary and behavioral health care, is seeking a dedicated LPN or RN to join our team at our Bloomington, IL facility.

Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled nurse to provide high-quality patient care and promote recovery through self-directed treatment. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nursing principles and a passion for delivering holistic health teaching.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient-centered care, promoting recovery and empowerment through trauma-informed practices.
  • Act as a liaison among healthcare providers, pharmacies, and staff to ensure continuity of care.
  • Collaborate with prescribers and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Deliver holistic health teaching to patients and their families, addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
Requirements
  • Active Illinois nursing license.
  • CPR certification (or become certified within 90 days of hire).
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Word, Outlook, and electronic medical records.
  • Satisfactory completion of a background check.

We prefer candidates with experience in mental health and substance use treatment. RN applicants should have knowledge of pharmacology and medication side effects.
