Key Responsibilities:
- Data Management: Utilize a BCP tool for effective data collection and ongoing maintenance.
- Plan Review: Refresh existing Business Continuity Plans and ensure that:
- Management information, roles, responsibilities, and Business Continuity Management Team (BCMT) contacts are accurately documented.
- Organizational-level plan details are thoroughly completed.
- Business Impact Analysis Verification: Review BIA to confirm:
- All process details are comprehensive.
- Impact assessments are documented, including Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO).
- Justifications for impact ratings are complete.
- Critical Process Assurance: For all essential processes, ensure:
- Identification of critical personnel.
- Documentation of IT applications with corresponding application IDs.
- All applications have defined business-required RTO and RPO.
- Process owners provide justifications for the impact of technology loss.
- Recovery Strategy Documentation: Ensure that recovery strategies are either documented or developed to mitigate associated risks and address technology loss.
Compliance Tracking: Verify that changes to BCP and BIA are captured, documented, and align with printed plans.
Expert Guidance: Provide expertise in:
- Defining roles and responsibilities.
- Conducting risk assessments and BIA.
- Implementing business continuity processes and procedures.
- Optimizing recovery strategies.
Training and Awareness: Facilitate training to ensure:
- Ongoing maintenance of BCP.
- Proficiency in using BCP tools for updates and report generation.
- Experience in process recovery is preferred.
- Experience Requirement: 8 to 10 years in a relevant field.
The compensation for this role ranges from $50 to $60 per hour, with the final offer considering internal equity and varying factors such as geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
