Job Summary

As a Cashier at Mammoth Mountain, you will be responsible for performing cashiering duties, including making cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, counting cash receipts, and completing cash reports. You may also perform general food service work. Maintaining sanitation standards in the preparation, service, and dining room facilities is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process sales transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Enter all sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
  • Make change, accept declining balance cards, and other acceptable forms of payment; issue receipts to customers.
  • Follow standard procedures for issuing cash refunds.
  • Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
  • Responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts, ensuring the cash drawer is in compliance with overage/shortage standards.
  • Observe customer purchases in the cafe line and differentiate between standard portions.
  • Replenish condiments, coffee, other beverages, and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service areas.
  • Keep the pastry case stocked.
  • Ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all sanitation, ServSafe, and safety requirements.
