Job Summary:

UCHealth is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Parkview Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Progressive Care Unit (PCU), you will provide top-notch patient care utilizing the nursing process and model proficiency through precepting new team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in a technically complex environment, including ICU or PCU level of care.
  • Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care.
  • Model proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth.
  • Participate in evidence-based care models for each ICU and PCU.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
  • 6 months of ICU or PCU nursing experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
