Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned engineering leader to lead a team of talented engineers tasked with developing new and innovative ways for our users to enjoy content on HomePods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and drive a team that works closely with cross-functional partners to push the HomePod speaker experience.
  • Collaborate and lead exciting engineering initiatives by partnering closely with various teams across Apple.
  • Tackle complex problems and drive meaningful product solutions based on quality and attention to details.

Requirements

  • 8+ years managing engineering teams that develop commercial-grade software.
  • Proven track record as a strong and strategic leader in driving and executing an agenda.
  • Aptitude to independently learn new technologies.
  • Prior experience leading large cross-functional engineering efforts.
  • Demonstrated expertise analyzing complex features and driving practical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of technologies similar to AirPlay and Audio Routing.
  • BS CS/CE/EE or equivalent experience.

Compensation and Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $252,400 and $378,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
