Job Summary

FlexCare Imaging is seeking a skilled Travel Imaging Technologist to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, ensuring high-quality patient care, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners, to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Assess patient needs and develop effective imaging plans to ensure accurate diagnoses and optimal patient care.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families regarding imaging procedures and results.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a travel or per diem setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift and move patients, as well as operate imaging equipment, with minimal physical assistance.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
