Job Title: Anatomy and Physiology Adjunct Instructor

Columbus Technical College is seeking a highly qualified individual to serve as a part-time Anatomy and Physiology Adjunct Instructor in our Health Sciences and Nursing Division. This position is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in the classroom and laboratory settings, as well as developing and implementing effective lesson plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach Anatomy and Physiology courses to students in a variety of settings, including face-to-face, online, and hybrid formats.
  • Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Evaluate student progress and provide feedback to students.
  • Participate in program committees and contribute to the development of curriculum and instructional materials.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency in syllabi, lesson plans, and other instructional materials.
  • Respond promptly to administrative requests and participate in staff development training and workshops.
Requirements:
  • A Master's degree from an accredited institution in Anatomy and Physiology or a related field.
  • OR a Master's degree from an accredited institution in a related field with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours/27 graduate quarter hours in Anatomy and Physiology.
  • OR a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.), or Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Teaching experience in post-secondary education.
