Join Our Team as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Vista Health System is a community healthcare provider with a network of facilities throughout Lake County, Illinois. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care, and we are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery unit.

About the Role

We are looking for a Registered Nurse with experience in postpartum care to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care to mothers and newborns in the Labor and Delivery unit
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes or concerns
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical advancements
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois
  • BSN degree or higher
  • CPR, NRP, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • At least 2 years of experience as a postpartum nurse
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
