Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at CAES. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our electronic solutions, from concept to customer delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform visual inspections, mechanical and dimensional inspections, and print reading to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Utilize precision tools, such as micrometers, Vernier's, gauges, and optical comparators, to measure dimensions and tolerances.
  • Identify defects and discrepancies against drawing specifications and control limits.
  • Submit and support source inspections, including customer and government inspections.
  • Interface with engineering teams to resolve technical issues and contribute to problem-solving.
  • Perform field return evaluations to ensure returns are repaired within quality guidelines.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Accredited GED.
  • 2+ years of related experience in electronic and mechanical inspection.
  • Expert understanding of Mil-Specs, IPC, and J-STD-001 requirements.
  • IPC-610, IPC-620, and IPC-J-STD certification.
  • Experience with AS9100D and defense contract requirements.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
