At Brady Ware & Company, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Manager to join our team of tax professionals in our Atlanta, GA office. As a Senior Tax Manager, you will play a key role in leading, mentoring, and coaching team members in various areas of tax compliance and consulting engagements to help our clients minimize tax liabilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and monitor the preparation and review of complex partnerships, S-Corp, and individual tax returns, including projections and estimate calculations.
  • Exhibit a high-level understanding of technical requirements, principles, and procedures, with the ability to apply relevant tax law to clients and circumstances.
  • Provide tax planning, consulting, and compliance services to clients.
  • Review and advise on technical research memorandums.
  • Develop an intimate knowledge of clients and their business activities.
  • Advise clients on the tax efficiencies of various structures, including the use of domestic and foreign entities.
  • Work closely with Directors to deliver innovative tax planning strategies.
  • Lead client meetings, engaging in professional and effective communication.
  • Oversee projects by scheduling associates, tracking completion, and managing the budget.
  • Efficiently delegate responsibility, providing proper instructions, monitoring, and coaching.
  • Actively participate in training and developmental opportunities to help build the firm's technical expertise, both as an attendee and as a facilitator.
  • Develop business by expanding existing relationships with clients, maintaining personal networks, and participating in civic, business, and/or professional organizations.
Requirements:
  • Must be CPA certified and have an active CPA license.
  • BA in Accounting required, MA in Taxation preferred.
  • 8+ years' experience of federal tax consulting and/or compliance in public accounting, including prior experience operating successfully as a manager/senior manager for at least 2-4 years at a local, regional, or national CPA firm.
  • Experience in Individual, Corporate, S-Corp, and/or Partnership returns.
  • Experience in multistate tax returns.
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge of Federal and Income Tax laws and principles, individual and business taxation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Working proficiency in CCH Axcess, CCH Fixed Assets, CaseWare Working Papers, and SurePrep.
  • ASC 740 experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • International tax exposure would be a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Passion to develop a responsible, knowledgeable, and trained staff.
  • Possess the ability to generate new business and extend service opportunities.
